Workshops
The DO Conference is a workshop-based event. Every conference workshop is readily applicable to any afterschool context: elementary, middle, high school, and/or urban, sub-urban, rural, etc. The principle tenets of each session also mirror our conference objectives:
Active Participation - All attendees will learn by doing in high-quality, intensive learning environments.
Contextual - Each session will highlight and emphasize implementation strategies and resources for afterschool education.
Student-centered - While our afterschool students will not be in attendance during this year’s conference, we continue to honor our student participation tenet by offering workshops that have been previously vetted and approved by student participation and feedback.

At the DO Conference, we encourage every opportunity to gather and hangout with like-minded individuals. It is our belief that some of the best ideas, strongest relationships, and world-changing collaborations originate informally.
