IMPROVMINDSET presents
LEADERSHIP LAB
Official Description: Leadership is not a skill that you are born with, or one that inherently manifests itself. It is something that happens after years of struggle, discipline, and breakthroughs. The Leadership Lab allows you to work on specific skills of leadership, learning what works for you as an individual, and understanding your unique style. The experiential learning in this workshop gives participants the physical experience of trying each skill, and the ability to replicate that in their daily practice. It is a safe place to experiment, find results, make conclusions, and test theorem. The workshop also encourages collaboration between participants, creating a network of shared knowledge between like-minded peers.
Layman's Description: Participants will practice leadership through interpersonal communications, commitment to action and follow through, as well as understand how to tell an effective story to inspire others.
DO Conference Hype: “I love Andrew and his methodology! The relationship between the improv mindset and our 21st CCLC PQA framework and research-based practices are striking. It is extremely relevant and beneficial to our field to practice our quality methods and skills through a different lens. I am super excited to see how this workshop advances our field this upcoming year, especially in light of our contemporary challenges and unique learning contexts. Yes, and…tons of fun will be had by all!”
