Workshops

The DO Conference is a workshop-based event. Every conference workshop is readily applicable to any afterschool context: elementary, middle, high school, and/or urban, sub-urban, rural, etc. The principle tenets of each session also mirror our conference objectives:

1. Active Participation - All attendees will learn by doing in high-quality, intensive learning environments (aka, 4hrs of fun!).

2. Contextual - Each session will highlight and emphasize implementation strategies and resources for afterschool education.

3. Student Participation - Afterschool students will attend the conference and participate collaboratively with the professional attendees (i.e., you).
